HOW BIG DO YOU WANT TO MAKE IT & WHERE WILL YOU HAVE IT?

 Small & Informal?  Create a HOUSE PARTY:

1.   Organize a concert/party in a home. 

2.   Invite your friends and family, and sing on the solstice for as long as you want to sing.

Big?  Create a SINGLE VENUE – SINGLE CONCERT

1.   Book a venue for sometime during the Solstice, which starts Friday, 20 June at 11:59pm GMT and ends at 11:59pm GMT on Saturday, 21 June.

2.   Organize a concert for yourself or your band/chorus/rap group/opera (etc,etc). Includes some songs about peace in your repertoire. 

3.   Via word of mouth and media, promote your concert. 

BIGGER ?  Create a SINGLE VENUE RELAY

1.   Book a venue for 25 hours, starting Friday, 20 June at 11pm GMT (the solstice begins at 11:59pm GMT) and ending at 11:59pm GMT on Saturday, 21 June.

2.   Organize a relay concert, in which each performer/group includes some songs about peace. 

3.   Via word of mouth and media, invite performers (individuals and groups) to sign up for time slots.  The challenge is to see if you can fill all of the time slots for 25 full hours, until the solstice ends.  You may be surprised at what people are willing to do for peace, even sing at 4a.m.! 

GIGANTIC?  Create a MULTI-VENUE RELAY:

1.   Book a venue for a few hours sometime between Friday, 20 June at 11pm GMT and 11:59pm GMT on Saturday, 21 June.

2.   Organize one small concert.

3.   Through word of mouth and press releases, encourage other groups and individuals to create local concerts in other nearby venues sometime between Friday, 20 June at 11pm GMT and 11:59pm GMT on Saturday, 21 June.

schools, cafes, town halls, community centers, neighborhood parks, playgrounds, beaches, hiking areas,  back yards, front yards, town commons, tents, cruise ships, airplanes, shopping malls, libraries, restaurants, temples, churches, mosques, hotels…
