Who’s invited:
Vocalists of all experience levels, styles or genre. 
 

What’s required:

·     Singing or chanting must be involved.  (This is about vocal music.)

·     Individual Singers and Groups of all genres and ability levels are encouraged to join.  Whether you’re in a rock band, rap or hip-hop group, school chorus, church choir, community chorus, bluegrass group, or part of an opera house (etc, etc) – you are invited to join vocalists from around the world in song on the Solstice.

 What you can do:

·     Choose a repertoire that includes songs about PEACE.

·     Plan your concert, promote your concert locally, and make it happen! 

Things to think about:

• Where will you sing?  In a public place or private?
• Who do you want to sing with you?
• Will you have refreshments?  If so, who will provide them?
• Who will record your event? 
• How will it be recorded:  photos, video, audio?  All three?
• How will you get people to sing with you?

  handing out flyers at local events (ball games, school plays, etc)
  sending press releases to local news stations and papers
  emailing your friends
  evites
  making phone calls
  mailing printed invitations

  ** Note you can use these same methods to invite your audience, if you plan to sing in a public place.
