I invited all that I knew in Hawaii to stop what they were doing wherever they were and join me in singing, dancing, read poetry, be in silence for Peace from 1-2PM on Sunday, June 21, 2009. One person was at a ohana gathering on Maui. Another was going to approach her minister. I pulled off the beautiful Pali Highway on Oahu and recited for peace. Mahalo and aloha.

[...] I moved to a new place on Monday and have been living out of boxes all week. Since I’ve been feeling discombobulated, one submission stood out — Rebekah Fraser’s advice – Music is healing. Singing for peace heals body-mind and spirit. Creating a chain of singing for peace around the world heals us all and the earth on which we live. I find things don’t seem so bad when the Indigo Girls sing Galileo. Check out Rebekah’s submission, Shift the Global Focus to Peace? [...]
